Madison had some minor health issues due to lack of oxygen, and had to stay in the hospital 5 days after she was born. My poor son loosing the love of his life, being a single dad to a new born baby. I wasn't going to be able to be much help to him because I lived in another state. So Keith moved in with Summer's mother. She was helping Keith raise his baby girl. Keith had his problems along the way trying to cope with Summer's death, working, and being a father, but they settled into a routine. On Nov. 16th 2011 the phone rang at 4 in the morning, this is a phone call no mother wants to get. On the other end was a relative telling me my son had died. I just couldn't believe it. My son dead, no way I said. My son died in his sleep of sleep apnea. he had layed down with Madison and fell asleep without his c pack mask on. He stopped breathing in his sleep. Our poor little Madison, loosing both of parents. Madison was only 21 months old when my son died, she will never have any brothers or sisters. My heart goes out to my baby girl, but Keith and Summer left us with a precious little angel, and they will always be with us. God wanted them to be together for eternity. So us grand parents take care and raise Madison. Madison spends most of the time with her grandma Marsha in St. George. Madison has been a blessing to all who know her. She is a beautiful healthy 21/2 year old, that will always and forever have her own story to share. She will always know about her parents through her families, and pictures and videos. So I created a web site named Pink and Blue Angels. It is a web site specializing in shabby chic, victorian, and cottage decor. All procceds from the site goes into a college account that has been set up for Madison. I hope you will follow my bog and visit my web site often, as I will always be adding new things to it.
Good Morning Friends, Today I would like to take a few minutes to tell you how Pink and Blue Angels came into being. It is a very sad story, but it is also a beautiful love story. Pink and Blue Angels was created in December of 2012 to honor the memory of my son Keith, and my daughter-in-law Summer. Keith moved to St. George Utah to work as a chef, after he finished culinary school. He lived and worked there about 6 months when a beautiful young woman named Summer came to work where he was working. Keith liked her right away and had a big crush on her. Keith was a very quiet and shy man. Summer was very out going full of fun and laughter. Well some how the two of them ended up going out with each other and it was a perfect love from the beginning. They both had so much in common. Summer had just finished culinary school also, so for sure they shared the love of cooking. As time progressed they ended up being together. Keith said he had found the love of is life. Summer became pregnant in 2009, a very normal pregnancy through out the whole 9 months. Needless to say my husband and I were waiting for the call to tell us the baby was born, well that call came on a Thursday morning around 3:15 am. The date was Feb.23rd. A day I will never forget. I answered the phone  and it was Keith calling to say the baby was born. His words were the baby is here, but Summer died before the baby was born. I was in disbelief and wasn't comprehending what he was telling me. I handed the phone to my husband and he kept saying no way, no way and started crying. At that time I realized  our daughter-in-law was gone. It was heartbreaking. She had to go to the Emergency Room in the middle of the night, because she couldn't breath and her chest was hurting. While in the emergency room sitting in a wheel chair getting ready to go be seen by the doctor Summer leaned her head over and passed away. She had an aneurysm go to her heart. They tried for over 1/2 hour to revive her, but she was gone, they then rushed her to do a C-Section to take the baby. Madison Summer Hollis was born.
